We'd been meaning to try this restaurant for quite some time and finally made it! We were seated right away and greeted by our friendly server almost immediately. We ordered from their restaurant week menu and our choices did not disappoint. My husband ordered the lasagna which was rich and delicious and I ordered the salmon alfredo that was scrumptious! Finally we had the creamy-yummy pistachio gelato for dessert which we shared right away and took the cannolis home to enjoy later! We will definitely return!

Authentic Italian Cuisine at it's finest! Very classy, upscale establishment. I sat at the bar, ordered the Veal Chop Saltimbocca, Outstanding! Paid $10 to park on the street, only to find out later you can park across the street for free. There are probably signs, being a weary traveler, did not see?

Leone's Italian restaurant in downtown Norfolk is conveniently located on Granby Street and is within easy walking distance of Chrysler Hall and the Scope Arena. The decor is stylish, casual and comfortable and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. There is an outdoor firepit and rooftop seating is available when the weather permits. There was plenty of available seating when I visited but I was told they can get quite busy during local events so I recommend calling ahead in case a reservation is needed. The menu was varied with traditional Italian favorites as well their own specials. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed the food and we all loved the fresh, hot bread with lemon caper butter. They offer plenty of vegetarian options. The service was top-notch and professional and very welcoming. This is a perfect place for special occasions and they offer a private dining room for parties. I can't wait to go back and sample more of the menu. I highly recommend Leone's Italian Restaurant in downtown Norfolk.

Really nice meal here last night before going to the concert at the arena. We started with the bruschetta, fresh and zesty and crunchy. Soooooo good! For mains, my husband had the mushroom gnocchi in a creamy creamy light sauce - pillows of deliciousness. I opted for the lobster fettuccine - my comments reflect my own taste buds, not the cuisine! I found the marinara sauce a bit spicy for my taste (more like a diavolo; hubs loved it, though), and it kind of overpowered the delicate lobster flavor. I might like a white wine & garlic sauce in its place, but I can't do spicy like I used to. The lobster itself was cooked absolutely perfectly - not overcooked, not undercooked, not rubbery, just glorious and unctuous. We split the tiramisΓΉ dessert, excellent espresso/Mascarpone flavor and not too sweet. (It disappeared too quickly for a photo.) Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely a place to add to the rotation!

Isnβt at this place during Norfolk restaurant week and we were pleasantly surprised with how great it was. to start. We had the house meatballs, and a house salad. I had a dirty martini from the bar, which was great for dinner. We ordered off the restaurant week menu. I got the linguine and clams and my husband got the chicken marsala or Malisse all of it came out well seasoned hot and fresh. Definitely enjoyed this restaurant for dinner. I had a dessert cocktail cannot remember their name but it definitely hit the spot will visit them again. The ambience in service is great. The noise level was appropriate bathrooms and amenities were very clean. They do have outside seating. We chose to sit inside, but they also have rooftop seating. Check them out.
